Celje is a town in Slovenia where many things meet. Four rivers come together within the town boundary and the roads connecting Ljubliana, Velenje, the Central Sava Valley and Maribor also cross within the town. The town has been occupied since the Hallstatt Era and the true meaning of the town name has been lost although there may be clues in the Ancient Celtic name Keleia.
There are a number of attractions in and around the town and you can hire a car in order to get to all of them easily. VIP cars provide biggest collection of rental cars through suppliers established n the country. There are two castles associated with the town. The first is The Lower Castle, which sits within the town itself, and has had a great many roles during its lifetime ranging from a royal residence to military barracks. The Old Castle sits on a hill overlooking the town and dates from around the 13th century.
