To the south of the main city of Cape Town, in province of Western Cape of South Africa, the suburb of Wynberg is located. Wynberg though a suburb is quite important with respect to other suburbs in this region.
Wynberg is the center of transportation among all other southern suburbs. All the people from the nearby suburbs come here to take buses to travel to cities and other nearby areas. Wynberg has Kenilworth in the north. To the south is the Plumstead and to the west is the Constantia. Though a small place, but tourists love to come here due to the Maynardville Park and Open air Theatre, the Dutch Reformed Church and the Wynberg Park. A popular festival known as the Maynardville Community Chest Carnival is held once a year in the February.
