St Louis is a large city and major river port located in the US state of Missouri. Often called the 'Gateway to the West’, this city is named after King Louis IX of France, and is located on the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi rivers. One can also go to Downtown St Louis and visit the many upscale restaurants, shopping centers and businesses there.
