The Bora Bora Island is a part of the Leeward Group located in the Society Islands in French Polynesia. French Polynesia is a collectivity of France located overseas in the Pacific Ocean. The Bora Bora Island is surrounded by a barrier reef as well as a lagoon at a distance of about 230 kilometers towards the North- western part of Papeete.
