Pathankot is a district located in the state of Punjab, India. Pathankot is the node of the 3 northern states of Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh. Because of its perfect location, Pathankot functions as a travel center for the 3 northern states. Pathankot is the last city in Punjab state on the national highway towards Jammu and Kashmir. The city is enclosed by both the Chakki River and the Shivalik range. There are stunning British-era churches located on Mission Road, enormous Sikh temples and an incredibly ancient mosque exactly in the center of Pathankot downtown blending all the colorful cultures on India. There is a gorgeous view of the Ravi River from Pari Baagh Madhupur. Shahpurkandi Fort is one of the major attractions of the city. There is a vital temple called Kathgarh Mandir. It is supposed that this temple was built at the time of Alexander The Great.
