Biella is a town located in the north west of Italy in the Piedmont region. It is the capital of the Biella Province and is approximately equidistant from both Turin and Milan. The town lies in the Alpine foothills of the Bo mountain range. The area is well known for its natural springs and beautiful lakes. Near to the town are a number of tourist attractions including the Zegni outlook and the Bielmonte ski resort. There is also the Burcina Natural Reserve to the south of the town.
