Cosenza Downtown is located in the centre of the town close to the Parco Emilio Morrone. The town has a small railway station so most of the traveling in and around the area is best done by car. You can hire a car from VIP Cars in advance and then pick it up on the agreed day. You can then explore the region, including along the two rivers flowing along the east and south of the town, down to the coast and the western coastal road, or you can head inland to the hilly region of southern Italy with its beautiful national parks. Cosenza also provides easy access up to the A3 motorway, which will take you north to cities such as Salerno and Naples, guiding you along the edge of places such as the Pollino National Park and past pretty coastal towns.
