The station is the terminal station for many lines and all Sanyo Shinkansen trains stop here. Hiroshima Train Station has 2 main entrances- the north or Shinkansen entrance and the south entrance. A prosaic tunnel links the area aheadof the Shinkansen entrance to asubway plaza below the south entrance to the station. The tunnel includes several restaurants and gift shops.
