David City Downtownis a modern, clean and attractive place to visit. While it has many tourist charms, the newly renovated Cervantes Park provides a relaxing haven of peace and quiet to get away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the city. During March the city comes to life with the Ferio Internacional de David that showcases the best of the Panamanian traditions alongside a celebration of the traditions of other cultures. You can also head outside the city to see some of the spectacular scenery that surrounds David. The city sits in a basin that is surrounded by rivers and mountains and the tallest mountain in Panama can be seen to the north of the city. The adventurous can also decide to explore the Cordillera de Talamanca mountain range that partly guards the city.
