Serta is a municipality located in Portugal. The municipality is composed of 14 parishes and is situated in Castelo Branco District. Serta municipality is situated in valley shale, an area forest with mostly pine brave and lately of eucalyptus. The most significant buildings of the county are the Castle of Serta, Church of Serta, the pillories of Serta and Pedrogao Small, Bridge Carvalha, and City Hall. The most significant festivals of the county are the Our Lady of Remedies to be held on 14th and 15th August; Our Lady of Grace on the 2nd Sunday in October and Our Lady of Confidence on September 8.
