Vila Nova de Milfontes is a civil parish located in the Odemira municipality of the Portuguese Alentejo region. This town is located along the Atlantic coast along the edge of the Mira River and is a popular tourist site. This town is also a part of the 'Nature Park of the Southwest Alentejo and Vincentine Coast' and is a part of a large estuary and ecosystem based around the Mira River.
