Gros islet was once a small village but now it’s Saint Lucia’s newest town and it’s quickly gaining its own popularity. It is located in the northern tip of Saint Lucia in the Caribbean Sea. The place was previously a naval base of the British Navy when it was at war with France in 1778. Throughout the years it has changed from British to French hands.
