Capdepera is a small town within Majorca municipality of the Spanish Balearic Islands. Capdepera is best known as a historical town that dates way earlier than the 13th century. When touring Capdepera, we recommend a car rental for getting around the town easily.
First stop is the Torre de Canyamel which is a 700 year old defense tower; it’s also nice to see this place at night as it is well lighted. Then, go to the famous Castell de Capdepera, a beautiful ancient structure. It also gives you good views of the surrounding landscape as it is located on a hill. And don’t miss Caves of Arta with its magnificent caverns and wondrous stone formations within. Entrance is a bit pricey but well worth it.
