Puerto De La Cruz which also means 'crossport’ in English translation is a city within Orotava Valley on the Island of Tenerife. Puerto De La Cruz was the first holiday resorts within the Spanich Canary Islands in the early 19th century, where known writers like Alexander von Humboldt and William Wilde vacationed here.
