Manises is a municipality located in the comarca of Horta Oest in the Valencian Community, Spain. Situated in the province of Valencia, Manises is renowned for its pottery and house in the municipality the Valencia Airport. The foremost economic activity is industry, centering on ceramics in the middle ages and Renaissance Manises was the most significantcentre of production for Hispano-Moresque ware.
Parish Church is devoted to Saint John the Baptist. It is neoclassical with retraces of the Baroque. The ground is a Latin cross with a single nave with a major Byzantine-style dome over the structure and splendorsurfaced on the outside. Municipal Museum of Ceramics exhibits sets of tiles of the 15th and 18th, tile panels, golden reflexes, a living room-kitchen of typical Valencian style, and popular ceramics.
