In Khartoum/Omdurman you must go through the Sufi ritual of drumming and trace dancing, about 1 hour before sunset and Friday prayer. Perambulate Tuti Island located in the heart of the concourse of the two branches of the Nile. About 1.5 hours south of Khartoum visit the dam.
