Vasteras Train Station is located at the center of the city and once in Vasteras you may start your trip at the Vasteras Train Station. From there, walk through the Vasa Park, to the Museum of Art, then continue to the Turbine House,one of Sweden’s 1st power plants constructed in 1890. From there, you can view the famous castle where King Gustav Wasa abolished Catholicism in Sweden in 1527. Then, you may follow Svartan creek northwards to the older parts of Vasteras where you also find the old Cathedral dating back to the 13th century. A stone's throw from the Cathedral lays Church Hill, which is the only major part of central Vasteras not destroyed by the building programs of the 1960s.
