Grangetown is an area in the south of Cardiff. It is one of the largest districts to the south of the city. The River Taff flows through Grangetown, and it has undergone many developments and regeneration projects. There is an ethnically diverse community make up, and there are many different religious buildings around Grangetown. These include churches, mosques and a Swaminarayan Temple.
Many of the churches are fairly old, and are rather quite quaint places to visit. There are four public parks in the area, and a well-stocked public library. There are also two fairly large leisure centres. There is a decent selection of shops and a large retail centre, which has several superstores. It is an easy distance from Grangetown to the city centre of Cardiff, as well as other surrounding areas. To explore Grangetown and beyond, hire a car from VIP Cars.
