Pride Park is a business park on the edges of Derby city centre. It is spread over 80 hectares of what was previously industrial land, between the railway tracks and the River Derwent. Part of the area was turned into a nature reserve, which was given the charming name of 'The Sanctuary.’ A popular spot for bird lovers, the area is home to several different species of nesting birds, as well as other types of wildlife. There are viewing areas on the edges of the reserve for members of the public to see the activity of the resident creatures. Derby County Football Club has their home grounds at Pride Park, with the stadium also used for concerts on occasion. Various retailers and other businesses operate from Pride Park. Whether visiting Pride Park as a tourist, a football fan, or on business, hire a car from VIP Cars.
