Havant is a town in south east Hampshire. It is on the south coast of England, between Portsmouth and Chichester. It benefits from good road and rail links. The old town centre sits on a classic crossroad configuration. The four streets are called North Street, East Street, South Street and West Street. There is a church at the crossroads, and at least one route is known to be a former Roman road.
Natural springs around the town are popular with visitors. Interestingly, The Treaty of Versailles was written on parchment made in Havant. The main shopping area is Meridian Shopping, as well as a fully pedestrianised area in the town centre.
