Officially known as the Bailiwick of Jersey, Jersey is an island group that, along with Guernsey, forms the Channel Islands. Jersey is in the English Channel, between France and mainland Great Britain. As well as the main island of Jersey, it also includes two small island groups that are not permanently inhabited; the Minquiers and Ecrehous, and the Pierres de Lecq. The capital of Jersey is St Helier. There is an airport as well as ferry ports on Jersey.
