Kirkcaldy is a town in Scotland’s Fife. Located on is on the east coast of Scotland, Kirkcaldy is nicknamed as the Long Town and the town’s name means "place of the hard fort". Kirkcaldy Museum and Art Gallery has an impressive selection of works, and there is an attached museum. The Adam Smith Theatre hosts many performances. There are three main public parks and a promenade.
The Old Kirk is the oldest church in the town. There are other churches in the area. Kirkcaldy Town House stands at the heart of the civic square, and the war memorial is nearby.
