New Malden is a town in the south west part of London. It is located 15 kilometres away from Charing Cross. The neighbouring areas are Surbiton, Wimbledon, Worcester Park, Coombe Hill, Raynes Park, Kingston upon Thames, and Tolworth. There is a fountain on the town, which sits on a roundabout. This fountain was historically used to supply drinking water for horses. Fulham Football Club’s training ground is found in New Malden, as is the training ground of AFC Wimbledon. There is a very large Korean expat community in the area, which is one of the largest Korean settlements in Europe. This means that there is an abundance of delicious Korean restaurants and fun karaoke bars in the town. Local landmarks include the town war memorial and churches.
