Fyshwich is a small plot of land with a bleak population. It is located in the eastern area of the district of South Canberra. This small area had a camp known as the Molonglo Internment camp. In the north of Fyshwich,thereis the Canberra Formation. There are a couple of andesite dykes across Gladstone Street. In the south, there is Fyshwich fault which extends from Lithgow St, covering the Molonglo River to Tennant Street. The means of communication is via the Railway line which parts the land into two halves. Some Streets and Monaro Highway also joins the two halves.
