Aracaju is the state capital city of Sergipe in the north east of Brazil. The city is partially located inland, but also sprawls along a large piece of coast. The coastal area of the city is home to a great many unspoilt beaches, which are enjoyed by tourists and locals alike. The tropical climate makes these fantastic destinations and you can find many things to do on and around the beaches, including water sports, volleyball and basketball. There are also plenty of bars and nightclubs for evening entertainment.
Although the temperature rarely drops below 24°C, even in the coldest months, there is significant rainfall between March and August. These weather conditions mean that the city is surrounded by tropical rainforest.
In order to see everything the city has to offer you will need a car to get around, which you can hire through VIP cars in advance of your trip.
