The airport serving Caxias do Sul is the Hugo Cantergiani Regional Airport, which was formerly known as Campo dos Bugres Airport. The airport was opened in 1988 and is found 5 miles from the centre of Cazias do Sul.
There are two airlines serving the airport, Azul Brazilian Airline and Gol Airlines. They connect Caxias do Sul with Campinas, Curitiba and São Paulo. The airport is located just off highway 116, which provides you with access both into Caxias do Sul and out to the north and south of the area.
