The Kempinski Resort lies on the west coast of Mahé Island and overlooks the Baie Lazare. Just a few metres from the hotel lies a perfect white sandy beach. However there is much more to Mahé Island than its beaches. In order to explore fully you will need a hire car, which you can hire through VIP cars. It takes less than half an hour to get to the Morne Seychellois National Park, a mountainous region on the island where you can take advantage of one of five self-guided tour routes to see some of the native flora and fauna of the island. The south west of the island makes the perfect hub to explore some of the marine attractions of Mahé Island that include the Port Launay Marine National Park and also the Baie Ternay Marine National Park. There are also some smaller islands to explore.
