Twinned with three international cities, Hertford is the county town of Hertfordshire in England. The name comes from Anglo Saxon times, and means the ford frequented by stags or harts. In St Andrew’s Church you can see a mysterious stained glass window, which some believe link Hertford to the Kights Templar and the Holy Grail.
