Preston is a large city in the English county of Lancashire. It was a major port and industrial centre in days gone by. The city still retains a lot of its northern culture, with the Lancashire dialect still used in the city. There are three major airports near the city- Blackpool, Manchester and Liverpool. It is well linked to the UK motorway network, with the M6, M61, M62, M65 and M690 motorways all running close to the city. This therefore makes it a great place to collect your car rental from VIP Cars. In Preston, the Minster Church, City Museum and Harris Museum are all well worth seeing. There is a fairly active nightlife in Preston, as well as a good choice of places to eat and sleep.
