Warrington is a town in the English county of Cheshire and near to the M6 and M56 motorways. The major cities of Liverpool and Manchester are easy to reach by road. It is famous for having been the former home of the well known literary figure Lewis Carrol. In Daresbury Church, you can see a beautiful and unique stained glass window depicting themes from Carrol’s well-loved children’s book, Alice in Wonderland. In the town centre, you can see a stone replica of the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. There are several bars, clubs, pubs and restaurants in the town, making for a fairly active nightlife.
