About Briancon
Briancon is a commune located in the Hautes-Alpes d'Azur region in southeastern France. This is the highest town in Europe. The historical center is an intensely fortified town established in the 17th century. Its streets are very outrageous and constrict still picturesque. The parish church with its two towers was established 1703-1726. The Pont d'Asfeld east of town was established in 1734 and builds an arch of 40 m span.
