Located right at the center of the town of Gander in Newfoundland in Canada, Gander Downtown has a small area but is noted for its many streets that are named after infamous aviators in the century. There are lots of attractions in Gander Downtown and these include the Cobbs Pond Rotary Park which lies at the heart of downtown Gander. The park is hosts the Festival of Flight which takes place on the first Monday of August. Nearby the park, the other attractions in Gander include the Old Town Site where remnants of buildings are found as well as the Old Canadian National Railway which is now developed into a park.
