Porto Cervo is a tourist resort in the north east of Sardinia. It is a seaside resort and it is a suburb of Arzachena in the Olbia-Tempio Province. Porto Cervo is right at the heart of the Costa Smerelda tourist area, which lies on the gulf of the same name. Porto Cervo was created as an exclusive retreat by Prince Karim Aga Khan.While much of the area is dedicated to recreational tourism, there is the Monte di Mola art gallery to bring some culture to the town. There is also a yacht club, based in the marina at the centre of the village.If you wish to see what the rest of northern Sardinia has to offer you can rent a car from VIP Cars in order to get away from the tourist locations and perhaps go to visit one of the National Parks.
