Nuevo Laredo is across the border from Laredo, Texas. It is larger than its American 'Twin’, but also younger as this city was born when Mexico split from Texas. For a taste of historic times, you can go to Zaragoza Street or Avenida Guerraro. Both places have buildings from the city’s past, and allow a glimpse into colonial times.
