Location Voiture Tivat
Tivat is a thriving tourist destination on the Adriatic coast. It is situated near the Bay of Kotor, and so enjoys spectacular views of the surrounding scenery and landscapes. It is the youngest town in the Boka area. It is especially popular with those who like to learn about marine life and work, as well as partaking in nautical activities. There are plans to create a major yacht port and resort in Tivat, which will further increase the volume of people visiting the town. There is also a smaller yacht port.
Tivat has its own airport, and is well linked to the rest of Montenegro by road. Sacred monuments can be seen at Ostryo Cyijeca, and the Renaissance Summer House Buca in the city centre is particularly charming. Sveti Marko Island is a popular trip to make, and the town has a botanical garden where visitors can see a wide range of plants, trees and flowers.
