Stevenage is a town in the English county of Hertfordshire. It is about 50 kilometres away from central London and has great road access to other parts of the country. The A1 (M) runs close to the town. Interestingly, many of the public houses around town, although modern have names linked to the area’s history. These include Edward the Confessor, Our Mutual Friend, The Twin Foxes, and The Pied Piper, which is the only public house to have been opened by The Queen. The town centre is largely pedestrianized. Knebworth House is a nearby attraction and this and others can be visited with ease in car rental offered by VIP Cars.
