Butte Airport’s official name is Bert Mooney Airport. It is named in honour of a former aviator from Butte. Bert Mooney was the first person to carry mail by air into Yellowstone National Park. The airport code is BTM. The airport sits 6 kilometres away from the central business area of Butte. Butte is a city in Silver Bow County, in the USA’s state of Montana. The airport has 2 runways. Delta Connection, operated by SkyWest Airlines, flies to and from Salt Lake City.
