After hours of searching who and how to book a car for 3 weeks in south africa, we decided to go with VIP cars. although their are many other sites that Martin Lewis recommended, everyone hides either excess charges, taxes, vat etc from the quote and then you see reviews slating off the supplier for over charging. However, VIP cars repeated was clearer even the majority of the information except deposit rates and excesses until you actually reserve the car. However, VIP cars does have a 24/7 telephone service and the staff in general have been very supportive throughout and just given us the reassurance that no further charges will occur when we get to south africa. If in the end the supplier experiences are not what we expect we will update this review. All we can say is do your research before reserving your rental car...
