Taree is a town located in the Mid North Coast of the state of New South Wales of Australia. The city is 16 km off coast and is a good tourist attraction. The places to visit in the Taree are The Big Oyster building, Big Banana, Big Things and Big Merino.
Here oysters are produced from the Manning River in Bulk amount. About 3 million oysters are produced on a yearly basis. Apart from these other places to visit are the Manning Aquatic and Leisure Center. This is an indoor heated pool with slimy dip. There is also a pool which is 50 m. This pool is said to be the second most expensive pool in terms of entry fee in the entire Western Australia.
The city celebrates events in January like the Manning River Summer Festival which goes on for the entire month. In October the Taree Gold cup tournament is held which is a horse racing tournament.
