Kelsterbach is a town located in Gross-Gerau district in Hessen, Germany. Kelsterbach rests on Frankfurt's southwestern fringes at a curve on the left bank of Main River. The town is significant hub for chemical production and logistic service providers. In 1952, it got the status of 'town'. The town rests on the south side of the Main and west of the Frankfurt City Forest. The colonially designed Neukelsterbacher Strasse was reinforced, delineated with 2-storey living and working buildings where Calvinist exiles were to be colonized.
