Corigliano D’Otranto is a very small town located in the Lecce Province in the Apulia region of south eastern Italy. It is very nearly the southernmost town on the main coast road, which runs the length of the Adriatic Coast. It lies a few kilometres south of the city of Lecce and is also close to a number of coastal towns including Otranto and Gallipoli. You can find great accommodation in Corigliano D’Otranto along with an easy to access location to pick up a car rental in order to explore the entire area. There are some rail connections, but in order to get around effectively you will need a car. You can book your car in advance through online with VIP Cars. You can then pick up at the main road north, or cut across the country to Galatina and then onwards to the Natural Park on the west coast.
