Lodi was Gallic town important to Rome because of its placement on the Road which crossed the Adda River. It was destroyed in 1111 after a battle with the Milanese and rebuilt in 1158 by Frederick Barbarossa. This town features a variety of architectural style and many sites of historical significant.
