The forest and City Zoo preserves wildlife of Latin America and educates visitors about these creatures. There’s also a green area and aqua park, all which make this an ideal family destination. The Guadeloupe Canyon is a bit out of town, but is worth the trip to relax in hot springs and enjoy the secluded resort. Shopping can be found in the local mall, with an impressive range of stores. To get around and see the attractions outside of the city proper, car rental is the best option.
