Nuevo Laredo is across the border from Laredo, Texas. It is larger than its American 'Twin’, but also younger as this city was born when Mexico split from Texas. The city isn’t a place frequented by many tourists. Regardless, there are several sites and attractions of local interest in this large city. For a taste of historic times, you can go to Zaragoza Street or Avenida Guerraro. Both places have buildings from the city’s past, and allow a glimpse into colonial times.
