Cieszyn is a border - town and the seat of Cieszyn County, Silesian Voivodeship located in Southern Poland. Among Cieszyn’s many attractions is the Romanesque St. Nichola’s Chapel, a rotunda from the 11th century. St. Mary Magdalene Church features a Gothic style of architecture and the protestant Church of Jesus, designed with a baroque tower. The statues of the four evangelists above the altar adds to the artistic interior of the church which dates from 1710. Another point of interest is the Museum of Cieszyn Silesia and the historical Castle Brewery. For cultural activities, the Adam Mickiewicz Theatre is the site to visit. The Old Town Square also includes the bourgeoisie houses from the 15th - 19th century while the Town Hall is from the early 19th century.
