Vila France de Xira is a town and municipality located in the Lisboa region of Portugal. Located at a distance of 32 km's from the capital city, Lisbon, this town is also situated on the west banks of the Targus River. It is primarily known for its bullfighting and bull running festivals such as Festa do Colete Encarnado, or the Red Waistcoat Festival, which is one of the more colorful and popular festivals around here.

Its main market is located in one of the most beautiful market buildings and is worth visiting.
