A part of English county of Sussex, Camberley lies 50 kilometres outside of London to the southwest. It is near Hampshire and Berkshire. The M3 Motorway is the nearest motorway near to the town. The town has a multi screen Vue cinema, showing all the latest movies, a public library, and a theatre. In the town there is a novel concrete statue of an elephant. A large brick tower known as The Obelisk sits high on top of The Knoll.

There are two small airports near the town, and the town has a railway station and many bus services. Some rail and bus services are, however, restricted, with some only operating at peak times. This can be inconvenient for visitors. A more convenient way of getting around Camberley and nearby areas is to hire a rental car from VIP Cars. One is not then bound by the times of public transport and has greater freedom.
