Sighthill is a suburb in the Scottish capital city of Edinburgh. It is in the western part of the city. It was previously known for its four enormous and looming high rise blocks of flats that completely dominated the skyline. All four were demolished in the years between 2008 and 2011. There are several small local shops, and it is mainly a residential area. Whilst there are not really any major tourist attractions in Sighthill, there are many things to do and see, as well as a great range of facilities for visitors. The area has been used to shoot scenes for different TV shows and movies, including Looking After Jo Jo, Trouble Sleeping, Outcast, and Quite Ugly One Morning.
