Fort William is the largest town in the Scottish Highlands. It is a major tourist destination, with Glen Coe very nearby. Outdoor pursuits such as walking, cycling and climbing are popular because of the close proximity to Ben Nevis and many other Munro mountains.

One of Scotland’s largest sea lochs, Loch Linnhe, is also near to the town. The loch and the mountains make for really gorgeous scenery. There is a yearly festival held in the town, which is great fun for visitors.
