Fort William is the largest town in the Scottish Highlands. It is a major tourist destination, with Glen Coe very nearby. Outdoor pursuits such as walking, cycling and climbing are popular because of the close proximity to Ben Nevis and many other Munro mountains.

One of Scotland’s largest sea lochs, Loch Linnhe, is also near to the town. The loch and the mountains make for really gorgeous scenery. The High Street is pedestrianised, but all other areas are easily accessible by car, making it a great place to pick up your rental car from VIP Cars. There have been several movies filmed in the area, including Braveheart, Being Human, Harry Potter, Highlander and Rob Roy. There is a yearly festival held in the town, which is great fun for visitors.
