Garys, also known by its full title of Grays Thurrock, is in the southern English county of Essex. It lies about 32 kilometers away from London, is on the north banks of the River Thames and is near the M25 “London Orbital” Motorway.
The nameThurrock has a Saxon meaning, and means “the bottom of a ship”, and Grays is named after a person.
